Our mission at a glance
Schud de Plaatsen is a movement reaching both Christians and non-Christians, in the Netherlands and beyond. Our longing is to bring people into an encounter with the manifest presence of the Holy Spirit, so that lives are visibly transformed.
Encounter with the Holy Spirit
We create spaces where both believers and seekers can encounter the Holy Spirit. Through powerful worship, prayer, and teaching, we aim to encourage people to experience God in all His fullness.
Activation of Believers
We want to equip and activate believers to do the works of Jesus, such as healing the sick, casting out demons, and baptising people in water and the Spirit. We believe every believer is called to be an instrument of change in their community.
Accessibility
The activities of “Schud de Plaatsen” are for everyone, regardless of background or beliefs. We hold gatherings throughout the Netherlands and use online platforms to reach a wide audience, both nationally and internationally.
Change through Deeds
We believe deeds speak louder than words. By offering practical help and support to the sick, the underprivileged, and the vulnerable in our communities, we want to make Christ's love tangible. We also support local initiatives that bring people together, strengthening community ties.
Support for Charitable Institutions
Supporting exclusively public benefit organisations (ANBI-status charities), churches, and organisations that align with the foundation's purpose, as well as organisations committed to standing against the persecution of Christians.
The call is clear: everyone is invited to be part of this movement. Together, places can be “shaken”, lives can be renewed, and hope can be spread. Step by step, life by life, with a desire to see lasting transformation in the Netherlands and far beyond.
